I think I have found a match with some PEACHEY information I got from you.  This is from the 1841 census:

Mildenhall, Sandy Hill

 John Peachey      70  Farmer
Sophia Peachey    65
Charles Peachey   26
Phillip Peachey   20
Peter Peachey     16
George Peachey    12

Do you think this matches yours?   Cheers,  Kevin

I am currently searching for information on the parents of John Peachey born 15 April 1770 in Mildenhall, Suffolk County, England

I suspect his father's name was John as well and his mother's name was Sarah Smith, but I'm not sure.

If anyone can help with any info. I'd appreciate it.

Thanks, Jon Peachey

My husbands gggrandfather was John Peachey who came from Suffolk , England. Worked in a distillery near Champaign, ILL. married Martha Langfeild. Came to Iowa in spring of 1892,where 3 of there children were born. John Edward Peachey was born Feb 08, 1849-- died June 23,1926-- married March 16 , 1874.
Could our John be son of your John? If there is a connect ,please let me know.  Lois

Suffolk County Records Office have sent me a copy of the baptism register (for 15.04.1770) showing John Jnr. being the son of John Snr. and Sarah

They say that John and Sarah Peachey were married in 1769 - but they got this info from IGI. Unfortunately there is no maiden name for Sarah, not a parish where they were married.

Suffolk have been unable to find any earlier details

Hi Jon

Is this John Peachey the one that married Esther Dearsley/Hester Derisley in 1800. They had a child James Peachey in 1794/1796 who married Maria Jennison in 1824. The only info I have on this John Peachey was that his father was also John Peachey (and was allegedly related to the Peacheys of West Dean, Sussex

Thanks for the information. It builds on what I had already which is good.

........ 2 George Peachey b: April 21, 1805 in Lakenheath, Suffolk, ENG
Did he marry Eliza ?. If so I have him in the 1851, 1861 and 1871 census.
In the 1841 census I have a George in this family aged 12 (born c1829) - I notice you don't have him. Perhaps an error in the census (wouldn't be the first)?
