My gr.gr.gr.gr. grandfather was BENJAMIN PEACHEY born Feb. 2, 1811,
New Jersey (?) and married Oct. 10, 1831 to Ann W. Walters. They had the following children: William W. b. 8-27-1837, Charles F. born 8-17-1832, Mary Ann born 5-8-1834, Sarah J. born 1-4-1844, Arron B. born 2-1- ?, Benjamin F. born 12-14-1846, John w. born 4-20-1849, Albert W. born 1-14-1853 .WILLIAM W. PEACHEY (my gr. gr. gr. grandfather) born 8-17-1837, and died 9-27-1911 Nevada Co., Arkansas, married 10-1-1831 to REBECCA POWERS who was born 12-14-1844 & died 10-19-1900 Nevada Co., Arkansas, both buried at Midway Cemetery, Nevada Co., AR .
They had the following children: 1. George R. born 11-20-1861, died
1-3-1943, married 11-5-1883, buried Nevada Co., AR, 2. Robert E. born
2-17-1864 McGovfen Co.,ILL. 3. Loomis born 9-2-1867, 4. Charles F. born 11-28-1870 & died 3-12-1928 and buried Midway Cemetery,Prescott, Nevada Co., AR.GEORGE PEACHEY (my gr. gr. grandfather) married 11-15-1885 to Emma Mautz born 2-3-1865 and died 6-10-1926, buried Midway Cemetery, Prescott, Nevada Co., AR. (GEORGE PEACHEY worked for the Northwestern Railroad for 29 years. He moved to Nevada Co., AR in1877 and lived there for 66 years until his death) They had the following children: Blanch Peachey born 7-15-1886, Rebecca Emma born 2-7-1888, Willie C. born 12-19-1889, & George R. born 9-15-1892, & Hiram H. born 2-4-1904.
REBECCA EMMA PEACHEY born 2-7-1888 & died 8-1-1962 Hope, Hempstead Co., AR, (my gr grandmother) married 2-18-1906 , Howard Denman Calhoun, born 3-26-1882 Robertson, Robinson Co., TX and died 7-20-1968 Hope, Hempstead Co., AR and both are buried at Huckabee Cemetery, Hope, Hempstead Co., AR.
That is all I know. I am not sure of the New Jersey birth place of
Benjamin Peachey. This is only hear say.......passed down. Does anyone out there have connection with my family........I would love to learn more and meet new cousins.By the way I, too, live in south Arkansas.
